a.       What are lipids and proteins? What are structural and functional unit of each? Write down types of lipids and protein along with their function in brief.  (5+5=10)

b.      What is Tsunami and how it is formed? Explain its different types.  (5)

c.       What is Covid 19? Explain its causes and steps taken by various governments to prevent it?                                                                                              (5)

a.      While the current wave of rains in Pakistan highlighted the weak disaster management system of Pakistan. What are failures of this system and how could you recommend satiable solution for the betterment of this system.                         (5+5=10)

b.      Briefly explain Geothermal Energy and Hydro Electricity. Also explain the benefits and hurdles associated with these sources in Pakistan.                                    (5+5=10)

3.       

a.       What do you understand by Global Wind and Pressure patterns? Also explain wind and pressure features at higher altitude.                                                  (5)

b.      Differentiate between tropical cyclone and middle latitude cyclone.      (5)

c.       Briefly describe the various segments of atmosphere. How these segments are maintaining the Earth Radiation Balance?                                               (5)

4.

                                                ii.      Pesticides and Fertilizers

                                              iii.      Ionic bond and molecular bond

                                              iv.      Urban fire and wild fire

                                                v.      Mitochondria and ribosome

b.      What are new models of producing bio fuel? Elaborate in detail along with their feasibility.                                                                                              (10)
